Multiple-Teeth Implants

If you’re missing multiple teeth, there are a few ways we can restore your smile.

• An implant bridge: We use two implants with a space between them as abutments. The restorative bridge has three components: two crowns to fit over the implant abutments and a pontic (fake tooth) that’s fused between those crowns.
• An implant-retained partial denture: Similar to the implant bridge, we use one or two implants as an abutment. The partial denture has an arm that fits around the implant crown to stabilize it. We can also use the All-on-4 system for patients who are missing their back teeth but whose front teeth are preserved. The partial denture clips into the implants, replacing the back teeth.
• Multiple implants: Another option is to replace multiple missing teeth with several individual implants and crowns. This option can get expensive, but it also allows for better retention of the jawbone and soft tissues while allowing the patient to eat and clean their teeth like normal.
