What Insurance Plans Do We Accept?

We are happy to accept all Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plans and we also support the International Longshore Warehouse Union (ILWU). We do not accept Medi-Cal, DentiCal, or HMO.

What Does Your Dental Insurance Cover?

We understand that dental insurance is a complicated topic. Sometimes it covers all your care, other times it only covers certain amounts. This means that in some cases you will have to pay something at the time of your treatment.

If you need insight about what is covered, we suggest checking your provider’s website. You’re also free to bring in your documentation so we can verify the coverage and speak with your provider to get the information for you.

When looking over your insurance plan, you may encounter two terms – covered benefits and optional treatments. The first is what your coverage company typically recommends, and is included in the plan’s fee schedule. These are normally used to repair damage and treat problems.

Optimal treatments are aesthetic in nature, and can cover cosmetic treatments such as teeth whitening or veneers.
